Sunbird - Annual Luncheon
September 2024

In tribute to Colonel Robert M. Chiaramonte on the 10th Anniversary of his passing, December 7th, 2014. After earning the ranks of Corporal, Sergeant, 1st Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain and Major, he served as Lt. Colonel for one year prior to being appointed as the Patrol’s 6th Superintendent on Nov. 1, 1965. Numerous programs, policies and practices were developed and implemented during Colonel Chiaramonte's tenure as Superintendent, having been institutionalized by the Patrol, including the Trooper of the Year and Blue Max Auto Larceny Award.  On his grave marker the words, Noblesse Oblige - the strong shall lift the weak.  Rest in Peace Colonel Bob.
